Valentine graduated a couple of years ago and he lives in United States. He/she has a work in the calculation area in an international company that takes it to frequently travel for diverse countries. When I asked him for their work, he/she responded me:

 

—Calm, but very well...

—Because calm? I asked him.

He gave me a very interesting answer:

—Because there one enters very on time but you should also come out at the exact hour. If you stay to work more time, your boss begins to doubt of your capacity and he offers to take off the work. The work that is assigned is to be carried out in the hours that you should remain in the office and to the company it interests him that who work there they have a personal life.

That Personal life begins at 6:00 in the afternoon... This coincides with television un programa that he played me to see for cable in passed days. It was a meeting of experts in labor relationships and the great discussion they were the schedules of work that have lost temper in many countries. The one that all the executives or directive should always be (at any hour of any available day, for that which you/they are forced to load with a scanner to where they go: cellular, pager, etc. The one that messages are received, electronic officials writings at high hours of the night or in the dawn and/or during weekends (that should be dedicated to the family life) and/or of places vacacionales or of rest.

The one that there is a very high index of divorces between the employees or directive of the superior levels, or worse still: of heart attacks and nervous crisis. The one that the relatives (mainly wife and children) of the workers they complain about the excessive time that these dedicate to the company. The one that the only discussion topic or he chats in the meetings where several people of the same company coincide it is related with the work.

The one that the workers discover that to go to the cinema, theater, opera, concerts, museums or centers of amusement have become an exceptional activity in their life. The one that the work becomes something oppressive and generate more estrés than satisfaction in who carries out it.

Do you recognize yourself in some or in several of them? In the work only, we are a number but...

The work stays and another number takes your place, nobody is indispensable in a company.

Hee understands, he understands, he meditates: That in your HOME nobody taking YOUR PLACE and YOUR if you are INDISPENSABLE in him.
